Row 4: Ch 1, 7 sc, [1 sc, 1 hdc and 1 dc into next st], [1 hdc and 1 sc into next st], 7 sc, 3 sl sts on the side, join in beg sc of row 3. (19 sts)
Row 5: Ch 1, 17 sc. (17 sts)
Row 6: Ch 6, turn, slip stitch back to first sc, 15 sc, slip stitch to last stitch, ch 6, slip stitch to first stitch of row 7, turn.

Change to chocolate colored yarn.
Row 7-8: Repeat row 5.
Stuff in fiber fill. Fasten off. Leave long tail so you can use it to sew the arm to the body.
Shoulder Shield (make 2)
Use white colored yarn.
Row 1: Ch 2, 6 sc into 2nd chain from hook, join in beg sc. (6 sts)
Fasten off. Leave long tail so you can use it to sew the shoulder shield to the arm.
Use fern colored yarn to sew three dots on the shoulder shield, then sew the shoulder shield to the arm.
Sew the arms to the body.
Neck Shield
Use pale grey colored yarn.
Row 1: Ch 23, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. (22 sts)
Row 2: Ch 3, 2 dc in next st, 2 hdc in next st, sc in next st, slip st in next 2 sts, ch 3, 6 dc, ch 2 and slip st back on same st, ch 2, 6 dc, ch 3 and slip st back on same st, slip st in next 2 sts, sc in next st, 2 hdc in next st, 2 dc in next st.
Fasten off. Leave long tail so you can use it to sew the neck shield to the body.
Body Shield
Use white colored yarn.
Row 1: Ch 7, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. (6 sts)
Row 2: Ch 1, turn, 6 sc. (6 sts)
Row 3: Ch 1, turn, 6 sc. (6 sts)
Row 4: Ch 1, turn, sc in next st, hdc in next st, dc in next 2 sts, hdc in next st, sc in next st. (6 sts)
Row 5: Ch 1, turn, sc in next 2 sts, 2 dc in next 2 sts, sc in next 2 sts. (6 sts)
Fasten off. Leave long tail so you can use it to sew the body shield to the body.
Use fern colored yarn to sew four tiny lines on the body shield, then sew the body shield to the body.
Leg (make 2)
Use white colored yarn.
Row 1: Ch 2, 6 sc into 2nd chain from hook, join in beg sc. (6 sts)
Row 2: Ch 1, [2 sc in next st] around, join in beg sc. (12 sts)
