Materials

    • Lion Brand Holiday Homespun Bulky weight yarn (5 oz/154 yards/ 141g per skein):  1 skein each of #204 Holly (Red), #200 Starlight (White) and #202 Wreath (Green) 
    • size USK (6.5mm) crochet hooks or size needed to obtain gauge
    • yarn needle
  • 1 white pompom (I have a pompom maker to make this, but if you don’t have one, here’s a link to a video that shows you how to make a pompom without a pompom maker)

Finished Size

  • approximately 17″ in circumference

Gauge

  • 9 sc = 4 inch; 11 sc rows = 4 inch

  • ch 3 at the beginning of each row is count as 1 dc in this pattern
  • Color is alternate between Holly (Red) and Starlight (White) every two rows until the band of the hat.
